Video out of Blois
A gentle ride down-river with an unexpected bonus. As we passed through the outskirts of Cande sur Bevron we noticed a cake shop with a relaxed outdoor eating area. Reluctantly we decided to partake and were delighted to find a wonderful collection of goodies. There was also a window where we could watch the chefs at work.

Replete we headed for Chaumont and setup our tents down by the river. Tired from our late night Wendy went into her tent to read (nudge nudge). I took a stroll around the town and sussed out how to get to the castle for the night viewing. I was rewarded with a mob of hot air balloons being launched from the bank on the other side of the river.
