Youth hostel looked more like an old armory.

The receptionist informed us that there was to be a big parade at about 4pm for their mini beer festival. So I went for a look, about half an hour before it was due to start the heavens opened.

First of two teams of horses pulling beer kegs.

The second team, also entrusted to a female beer drinker.

The two support vehicles had teams of people facing the crowd drinking beer at an amazing pace.

At the back of each support vehicle was an oompah band and they took it in turns to drive the crowd to a frenzy.

Once everyone was thoroughly saturated they headed off through town to a designated drinking spot on the other side of town and I headed back to the YHA for some warmth.
