As commented on in the email I was up early looking at Radolfzell, a pretty little town in the glow of dawn. A market was being setup as I wandered aroun town so we called by it on the way to the train station and got some goodies for lunch.
The train from Radolfzell to Immendingen was just a small commuter train and the designated bike carriage was quite full, especially when the man with take-away food cart got on.
Not far out of Immendingen we came across the Danube, a far cry from the mighty river we will follow a thousand kilometers down to Budapest.
We had morning tea sitting on some stone steps dangling our feet in the cool mountain waters.
Then it was back on the bikes and head on down to Mulheim au Donau.
On arrival at our hotel we had a quick look around the quitky estalishment and then went for a walk around town, had picnic lunch in a little park and then notice a gatering of people in uniforms and went to investigate. It was a wedding of a band member.
After dinner I went back out and did the walk around with the storyteller who gave us an intersting and inciteful talk completely in German.
