Wendy arrives back in Bray in time to meet the up with the Irish contingent from the Preston get together four months earlier. She went to the cycle festival in the UK and had an absolute blast. It did sound very cool and she ended up meeting up with a few of that gang in Dublin and cycling south (east coast)

The festival in the UK was very helpful in giving her confidence and she kept in touch with some of those new friends. I sat in once on a virtual cycle talk that she was a contributor for and it was great, she loved imparting some knowledge to those who were planning to set off. She also took time out to chat to a friend of mine here who was setting off to cycle across Canada soon after Wendy's visit. She did it and I like to think Wendy had a hand in her success
