The only pictures posted today and they are of one of the Australian soapies that are so loved in the UK and unknown in our family.

The main two were Home & Away, which started in 1988 & Neighbours, which ran from 18 March 1985 until 28 July 2022.

Wendy and her girlriend Kelly answered the call for would be starlets to try out for roles in the cast and Wendy actually got a call back to do a second reading. Thankfully she didn't get the gig.

Conicidentally, sitting in the back left corner of the pictures is a Koala and Megan and I now volunteer at the koala hospital in Port Macquarie. Megan is a guide and really enjoys it when she can use her language skills with foreign visitors. I merely go out and help rescue injured Koalas. As with all native animals they face increasing dangers with rapidly increasing human population and decrease in natural habitat.
