Wendy in Paris, eventually.

Wendy's trip from St.Malo was a disaster. The train managed to get to Rennes before stopping for some hours. Apparently there had been a fire at the terminus in Paris which created chaos throughout the rail network.

The next day Wendy took a walk in her favourite park, the Luxemburg Gardens, before finding a market and doing a little shopping.
