Montbard surrounds a castle on a rocky outcrop. It is quite a long walk from the camping area (blue dot, top centre on the map) south west to the river, along the river and then up the tree lined boulevards to the back entrance to the castle. Through the castle grounds and out through the main entrance by the Museum., then complete the circuit back to the camping grounds, over 5kms.
